biography
Ayami Wakahisa was born in the summer of 1998 in Osaka, Japan. Her parents were Ayako and Satoshi Wakahisa. Both of her parents were practitioners of magic. They were approached by a sinister corporation known simply as The Eye. Their directive for Ayako and Satoshi was to use their knowledge of magic and combine it with The Eye's vast scientific resources.They used Ayami as a bargaining chip, taking her and forcing her parents' hands. Moving to Manhattan to operate in the Oculus-Sinister laboratory, one of two major labs they used. Oculus-Dexter was the other, focusing on biological experiments, while Oculus-Sinister focused on creating technology. both Ayako and Satoshi helped them develop various enchanted weapons, tools, and began developing a portal. The Eye had plans to use this portal for global patrolling, expanding their outreach to any country they wanted. Ergo, global domination. Oculus-Sinister created a formula using the magic books provided by Ayako and Satoshi to inject Ayami to see the lasting effects. Finding out what they've done, Ayako and Satoshi opted not to continue working on the project. They took Ayami and started a normal life in the United States, letting Ayami attend school. They raised her, training her in combat and using the magic of her books they kept secret.Ayami had ahold of her powers in early adulthood and was a skilled combatant. In school, however, she was less social. She had few friends, only one she considered her best friend named Chris from an early age. At 18, her parents were inevitably killed when The Eye decided to tie up loose ends. Now on her own, Ayami had to flee, buying an RV and leaving New York for good.Now on the road, Ayami trains her husband in the same combat and magic she was taught as a child. They journey across the country, expanding on their skills while discovering other magical creatures and entities.After Dawn Matthis and Ayami was both targeted by The Eye, Sherubī returned to Manhattan to form a rebel team known as IRIS, a play on their oppressor. Dawn, Blake, and Ayami are its founding members but have expanded to other victims of The Eye. They developed suits individualized to each member, Ayami's being samurai plating and a Kabuki mask, going under the alias Willow. They infiltrated the Oculus-Sinister laboratory and found out about Ayami's parents' history within the corporation, and discovered that The Eye was replicating her parents' work. Here, Ayami found her Hellfire Sword. They attempted to close the portal, but it was too late, demonic entities had escaped into various parts of the world, causing chaos. After destroying the portal, they left the facility and destroyed as much of it as they could, leaving The Eye to rebuild.Now with the world containing more than just them, they stayed together to fight against the experiments under the control of The Eye, as well as the other creatures let out through the portal.Disagreements between the team regarding lethality and their mission caused a disbanding.Ayami, now under the alias Red Ronin rather than Willow, returned to Japan to continue their training.The plane was taken down midflight, stranding them as the only survivors on an uncivilized Japanese island. Without their books, their gear, or their weapons, it was up to their survival instincts to stay alive amongst the creatures the island inhabited.

Energy Attacks:
Ayami can emit energy from her magic that has various properties. One of these is a heat blast, used to incapacitate opponents, or built up in her punches or kicks for stronger melee.Healing Abilities:
Just as she can harm with her energy attacks, she can also heal wounds and fractures. The healing process consumes a lot of her energy, which she must recharge after so much consumption through healing.Portal:
Ayami has the ability to open gateways to local locations, anywhere within a 10km radius. This can be expanded upon but takes more energy than she can produce as she has to keep the portals open.Japanese Martial Arts:
As a samurai, she has been trained in hand to hand combat as well as sword fighting. Primarily, Jiu-Jitsu is her style of choice without her weapon.Magic:
While all of her powers are linked to magic, she has the ability to cast certain spells. These spells are verbal or based on chemical compounds.Weapon of Choice:
(ヘルファイアブレード) Hellfire Sword. Taken from one of The Eye's facilities. She has the ability to summon this when nearby, just the same as the portal. It is linked to her as its primary user. Her usage of this katana is often combined with her samurai armor.

1. Ayami's downtime she uses to train and meditate, though she likes to hang out at bars in her offtime.
-2. Her favorite drinks are umeshu (plum wine) and Blue Moon beer.-3. Ayami is often stubborn, leading her to be sometimes emotional in battle. However, her perseverance and logical thinking allow her to overcome those emotions.-4. She prefers venturing alone, despite her time on various teams.-5. Ayami is a heavy drinker when alone, but becomes paranoid when doing so around others. She doesn't like being impaired around people because of the dangers that come with it.-6. She has no qualms about killing when necessary. She believes it is better to execute the problem before it becomes bigger than to take a chance on redemption.
